Technical Support Engineer
We are seeking a motivated specialist focused on datacenter and networking technologies, to provide comprehensive solutions for sophisticated installations, maintenance, or operations for a broad scope of groundbreaking networking products. You will be the main point of contact for our customers; assisting them with technical inquiries and resolving problems. We are seeking an approachable, proficient communicator who is fundamentally interested in taking ownership in resolving issues, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained and delivered.
What you will be doing:
- Analyzing and resolving technical issues through meticulous research and reproduction, for customers installing NVIDIA products and supporting systems using Linux Operating Systems.
- Resolving customer issues during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or interoperability with other vendors.
- Responding to customer inquiries via telephone, email, or conference calls.
- Developing, documenting and improving support processes standard methodologies.
What we need to see:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in providing in-depth Customer Support and solving problems for hardware and software products.
- Ability to work in shifts.
- Linux System Administration skills, and be very comfortable working in various Linux environments as well as with Windows OS’s.
- Deep understanding of at least two of the following: data centers, servers, distributed systems, virtualization, deep learning frameworks, containers/containerization (ie Docker, Kubernetes), hybrid cloud (ie AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of Ethernet and/or InfiniBand – Advantage.
- Professional-level communication skills, interpersonal skills with a passion to tackle problems.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
- Strong organizational skills and able to prioritize/multi-task easily with limited supervision.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Clustering or Data-Center technologies including Upper Layer Protocols (i.e., MPI).
- OpenStack Administration.
- Knowledge and experience with additional OS’s such as Microsoft Windows, VMWare, Unix.

Senior CAFM Specialist and Occupancy Planner
The CAFM Specialist and Senior Occupancy Planner are integral to NVIDIA’s Real Estate & Site Services (RESS) Group, supporting the global space management system and workplace planning initiatives. The CAFM Specialist is responsible for ensuring that NVIDIA’s global space management system, Serraview (Computer-Aided Facility Management or CAFM), remains accurate and updated in real time. This role is crucial in maintaining information and workflow processes to provide critical metrics that enable the Real Estate team to make informed decisions regarding the global real estate strategy. The CAFM Specialist must think critically, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, make sound decisions, and deliver robust solutions for space management systems and processes. This position reports to the Manager of Space Management (CAFM) and collaborates with other CAFM Regional Leads.
The Senior Occupancy Planner focuses on developing innovative planning solutions for the India region, encompassing critical analysis, information management, and space discussions that result in optimal business outcomes. This role plays a key part in enhancing the employee experience and ensuring the workplace supports NVIDIA’s goal of attracting and retaining employees, contractors, and interns. The workplace is also central to reinforcing the company’s global brand and culture.
What you will be doing:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and team liaison for office managers and space managers in the INDIA region. This involves taking the lead for ongoing training initiatives, introducing new processes and tools, and spearhead weekly audit meetings.
- Accountable for ensuring precise data management in Serraview, encompassing employee locations, layouts, architectural drawings, and room types, amongst other data points.
- Participate and engage in meetings with Eptura (Serraview), RESS Planning and Design teams, other RESS teams, as well as internal partners on an on-going basis.
- Offer continuous support to address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a seamless user experience while constantly looking to improve the system and processes.
- Develop comprehensive documentation and training materials to aid users in navigating the CAFM platform effectively.
- Audit and support space attributes, types, polyline changes to floor plans in ACAD and other particulars in the system, on a consistent basis.
- Responsible for the accuracy of the space portfolio data for the INDIA Sites (Bangaluru, Pune, Mumbai, and Hyderabad), and ensure that furniture layouts and physical elements of the facilities are accurate in Serraview. This responsibility involves conducting regular floor walks to verify and maintain accuracy.
- Lead day-to-day occupancy planning activities and space allocations in support of tactical business unit need requirements.
- Develop strong relationships with business contacts to understand product area focus, business adjacencies, and departmental reorganizations.
- Develop various planning scenarios using qualitative and quantitative information. Build scenario plans using CAD, Serraview, and other tools.
- Engage with the Planning and Move team on new processes and initiatives to enhance CAFM’s effectiveness in the space planning function.
What we need to see:
- 8+ years of experience, BA or BS College degree (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working with CAFM systems is required and Serraview is preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Highly responsive to all requests and proactive approach to problem-solving in a collaborative manner.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, process improvement and ability to multi-task.
- Superior oral, graphic and written communication skills.
- Self-starter, self-confident individual with integrity and accountability.
- Team oriented and ability to lead activities with minimal supervision.
- Strong skills required in MS Excel. ACAD, PowerBI, Tableau and space planning skills beneficial.
